About Chef Michael
“A guest should never feel like a guest, and a meal is best prepared with love and care for those you are tending to.”
Michael began his culinary and hospitality career before he was the age of 10.   After a move to South Florida at the age of 16, he began working in well-established Seafood restaurants that catered to hundreds of people nightly.   From host and busboy, to server, bar-back, bartender and all of the roles in between, he learned what it takes to be a service industry professional.   But it was in the kitchen where he found his pride and joy.
During his career and journey, Chef Michael held positions as Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef, Director of Catering, General Manager, Outlets Manager, Director of Banquets and all steps leading up to these prestigious positions.   He held these positions with private country clubs and 4-Diamond resorts, including the 4-Diamond resort , "The Sanctuary Resort" on Camel Back Mountain in Paradise Valley Arizona.    Chef Michael was quite honored to work with and learn from one the greatest Chefs to this day, Celebrity Chef Beau MacMillan.
Chef Michael has also received the accolades of those he has cooked for and serviced in the industry.   He has had the pleasure of cooking and taking care of a number of luminaries including  ESPN Game Day announcers Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreet and Chris Fowler,  Head Coach Lou Holtz,  Legendary Guitarist Dave Navarro,  Aerosmith,  Actress and Musician Bette Midler,  Department of Homeland Security and former Governor Janet Napolitano,  and Actor and Comedian Jerry Seinfeld to name a few.
While he loves his memories of taking care of such memorable figures in our culture, some of his fondest memories are of cooking in his home, and preparing meals for those he loves.
This is where Michael composed the idea for Charleston Cooking for Couples.   His vision is to help couples continue their love, passion and romance by providing a dining experience unlike any other, all within the comfort of your own home.

“Charleston is loved for its culture, hospitality and cuisine.   There is no shortage of incredible places to eat, but sometimes it is nice to stay at home also.  Why not let someone do the cooking for you, and enjoy fine dining without having to leave the comfort of your own home.   There is no need to worry about traffic, parking, or the weather.   I will bring Charleston dining to your front door.”
